Ordering enough food for a heavy lunch for four people, we got the Luc Lac (grilled sirloin on a bed of lettuce and tomato fried rice), vermicelli (rice noodles topped with chicken kebabs, spring rolls, veggies, and tangy dressing), fresh spring rolls, and papaya salad. The food was brought out quickly, starting with the fresh spring rolls.

Compared with other restaurants, Pho Lúc Lac has the best presentation and quality for the rolls. Imagine a muscular guy in a diving suit versus a skinny guy in lose pajamas, their rolls is denser than others. Garlic and Chives is one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in the OC area. Restaurant, including the restrooms is clean. Service is prompt and courteous. Lots of parking available in the plaza lot. We have been lucky to come at times when they are not that busy, but I imagine that they would get pretty packed during peak hours. This is probably the most famous Vietnamese restaurant in the city. I heard many people said good things about it. We ordered the house famous luc lac, coconut curry with shrimp and a durian cocktail. I didn't know what luc lac was and it turned out to be grilled steak with salad and Spanish rice.
