Then unscrew and remove the hammer assy from the rear, then remove the nipple (assuming #11 ignition) and plug. I've converted both with the Knight kits to the 209 red primer. My only advise would be if you find the conversion kit for sale, buy it then. I found several kits when I first searched, waited a bit, and they had sold out. Took several months to get back in stock. Use only 209's with Blackhorn powder. It's not the fact that the plug takes bare primers, it's because the plug has a convex end, and the realyable ones are concave.
