Get out, soak up some 2 mile high scenery that I think is "better" than Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mt. National Park. I do recommend taking the state highway across Thunder Basin National Grassland, leaving Wyoming at Newcastle - the road up to Mount Rushmore from the south is an interesting and beautiful drive. The least populated state in the nation has much to offer, but the dramatic scenery many associate with the name is only out west. Go east and you hit grasslands/ prairie.
